RE: Looking for 2 sleds for the family

For a family sled, I would go with the rs-venture (yamaha). Good dependable sled. Not sure how old your kids are.... but assuming they aren't going to ride for a while.... you need Comfort! Passenger Grip warmers are a must for the young ones on back... You want them to have fun! Also, on the venture, your back seat is removable for those times when you are out "wit da guys". Yes, the sled is a little heavy...but the 4 stroke and creature features make it a good family sled. Just my opinion of course... and I am a doo guy.

RE: MBRP Exhaust on New Polaris Dragon

I agree with j-man. Any "gain" you might get would only be with the weight loss of the can vs the stock one. Other than the sound that it makes to aggravate home owners and state troopers alike.... I don't think it has much value. I had a trail can on my doo a long time ago...it sounded nice...but didn't give me anything more than that..... Just my opinion.

RE: 2 Stroke oil

I ran it for half a season some years ago with my 2001 mxz 800. Didn't seem to make any difference, so I switched back to doo oil out of convenience sake. LOL. For some reason, I always enjoy going to the local toy store for goodies (plugs, oil etc) and shopping LOL.
But as far as blue marble: Nothing noticable... but no judgement on it either.

RE: 2 Stroke oil

Someone may have already said this: Run down the res and re-fill with the new stuff... just be sure to stick with the same type (IE Synth) and you will be fine. I always ran doo synth in mine but got an itch to run blue marble junk a while back... but eventually switched back to the doo... no problems. Ran low on the trail once and used amsoil that night.... no probs.
